Prior to joining Ilian, Consulting and Management Inc., Mr. Daniel was Executive Vice-President, Communications & Marketing Services of BCE Inc. and Bell Canada. He also held several senior positions in the federal public service, including Assistant Deputy Minister, Communications for the Department of Finance and for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. He served abroad in 1993 as international advisor on media and communications to the Transitional Executive Council preparing South Africa’s first multiracial election and in 1997 as Director of Information and Press for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) during the Kosovo conflict.
