Marianna Simeone, Journalist-editorialist and host of the event

Marianna Simeone is an award winning broadcast journalist working in English, French and Italian.  In addition to her work in television and radio, Marianna is a known public speaker emceeing major events, conferences, symposiums and galas in Montreal, elsewhere in Canada and abroad.  She comes to media with a vast experience in international trade, in the arts and in the world of philanthropy. Actively involved in her community, Marianna has been a member of the National War Museum’s (Ottawa) building committee, of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau and is still a spokesperson for the Montreal Children’s Hospital.  Since 2009 she is a Knight of the Order of the Republic of Italy.
